Adventure Expedition Week

Our new Adventure Expedition Week takes everything we love about school trips in the Alps and dials it up a notch. It’s designed for students (and teachers!) who want something extra – the true alpine experience.
This isn’t about replacing our classic trips, but about offering a next-level option for small groups. A week during summer holidays packed with challenge, excitement, and breathtaking experiences that build resilience, teamwork, and confidence in a completely unique way. For teachers, it’s a ready-made programme that ticks all the boxes for outdoor education and enrichment.
If you’re looking for a trip that goes beyond the ordinary, Adventure Expedition Week is waiting.
Canyoning & Gorge Walking – New Spot!
We’ve found a fantastic new canyoning/gorge walking location just 20 minutes from Morzine in Foron. It’s ideal for younger groups or those looking to try something totally different. Graham and his family tested it out recently, and the verdict was unanimous: they loved it!
We’ve also run the Nyon canyon with two school groups and our Gold DofE – it’s always a highlight, with plenty of thrills and smiles all round. Both spots now feature on our list of recommended adventures.
Via Ferrata - Two Brilliant Options
This year we used the Avoriaz Via Ferrata, and while it was absolutely epic, it’s definitely at the higher level of challenge (which is great for some!). For schools who want to experience via ferrata but at a more accessible pace, we’ve added the St Jean d’Aulps Via Ferrata to our programme.
It’s a brilliant introduction to the sport, with the perfect balance of challenge and safety – complete with abseils for an extra thrill. Thomas’s school group gave it a go, and they came away buzzing.
Hotel du Lac – New Accommodation for 2026
We’re thrilled to announce that from May and June 2026, schools will have the chance to stay at the stunning Hotel du Lac, perched right on the edge of Montriond Lake. This magical location can welcome groups of up to 50 and offers a truly unique alpine experience.
Just imagine waking up by the lake, heading off on your day’s adventures, and returning to this special spot – it’s going to be an unforgettable base for any trip.
