TRIP DETAILS & FAQS

Here are more details about our trips to Morzine. Each school group is different and we tailor each trip as best we can to suit your objectives, activity preferences, number of pupils and budget. Please drop us a line if you have any questions.

We can run trips at any time of the year. The peak time for summer trips is May to September and from December to April for winter trips. Activities available vary with the time of year so please have a chat with us about your programme.

We propose a programme of (awesome) activities for groups when we first meet. We confirm the programme about a week before the trip once we have planned transport, group rotations, meals and activity times. Do let us know if you have any specific preferences. We will modify the programmes in response to the weather or safety issues.

Generally, the following are included in all of our trips:

Included: Flights, coach or train travel from the UK, transfers to Morzine, food, transport while you are with us, accommodation and all activities.

For ski trips ski rental, lift passes, lessons and transport to the piste is included – see you proposal for specific details.

Not included: Travel to UK airport or train station, travel insurance, meals during travel & pupil spending money.

Most groups stay in one of the Centre de Vacances we work with. They specialise in groups of young people. They have small dormitories, fantastic views, great facilities and are in a great location. We also use other accommodation depending on the time of year and group. Generally all bedding is included but you need to bring towels.

The price depends on group size, dates, activity preferences and travel preferences. Please get in touch and we can arrange a quote for your group. Prices may go up if number fall below the minimum needed. Pupils added at a later date are subject to availability and price fluctuations.

BeVenturesome is a registered Tour Operator and we offer the following transport options. Please chat to us about the various options.

  • Coach from your school to Morzine
  • Fly to Geneva or Lyon

The spectacular environment and adventure activities are a great opportunity to build character skills such as resilience, leadership, teamwork and creativity. Each pupil is different; each school is different, so let’s have a chat about how we can help you get more out of a trip with us. We have created (and continue to improve) our Adventure Notebooks, in which each pupil gets to write down their thoughts and reflections during the week.

BeVenturesome staff will be with you all the way. We have a team of Adventure Reps that are with you the whole week, glueing everything together, making sure teachers and pupils are well prepared for the activities and bringing about the learning outcomes. Most of our team are British nationals who have moved to Morzine because they love Morzine & the mountain that much! We also work closely with local Guides (rafting, climbing, etc) who run those specific activities, along with our Adventure Reps, who are also there to help as well.

We agree to a deposit (normally 25%) to secure your booking, and the balance will be due 10 weeks before the trip departs. We do not charge VAT. We can only secure flights once we have your deposit. Booking with easyJet flights requires a 30% to 40% deposit.

To participate fully in all the activities, a healthy level of fitness is required. They will need to be able to swim 25m and be comfortable with having their head submerged and be able to walk up to 10km. If you choose mountain biking, they will need to be able to ride a bike. Activities such as canyoning, via feratta and mountain biking, are more advanced and we advise having a conversation with us about them before booking. Please have a conversation with us about any pupils who might not be able to participate fully before booking. We do what we reasonably can to accommodate all pupils.

Teachers have pastoral responsibility for pupils. This includes bedtime and wake-up, administering any medical treatments, looking after pupils with illnesses etc. You will need to ensure that pupils have GHIC cards, visas, and travel insurance and supply us with all relevant medical info, allergies, consent, and passport information when requested. Teachers are required to remain in proximity with the groups during activities.

All documentation, policy and procedures are available on request.
