It would be wrong to leave the Alps without going whitewater rafting. The Dranse river drains Portes du Soleil into Lake Lemand providing lots of liquid entertainment opportunities for pupils to work as a team.
It’s rare to find an accessible outdoor climbing wall that offers as wide a variety of climbs for beginners as the one in Morzine. Each pupil will get plenty of time to learn some climbing skills and put them to the test.
Trekking in the Alps in the Summer is something else! Sign posted trails snake up stunning passes that offer breathtaking panoramic views. We’ll arrange a drop off high in the mountains by chair lift or mini-bus to maximise your time there.
High Ropes were pioneered in France and they certainly know how to make them. Go back to your primate-self and swing from tree to tree, cross rivers and test your mettle. Morzine has 2 courses suitable for all ages and abilities.
Once we hear geared-up in helmets and body armour groups test their bike handling skills (and learn some more!) on the gentle slopes. We then either descend down the valley to Morzine to take the chair lifts up and ride down the special trials!
The tranquil Lac de Montriond provides the ideal host for paddle sports and is a short drive away. Pupils will cruise around in tandem kayaks, paddle boards or single kayaks. They’ll learn skills, play games and soak up the environment.
Morzine opens several cable cars and chair lifts in the summer for mountain biking, trekking and sightseeing. They are an exciting way to explore the mountains and get some fantastic views.
Morzine has a spectacular 50m outdoor swimming pool. It has a slide and play area making it very suitable for school groups. It’s open from mid June. Before then we use a lovely outdoor pool of a local hotel
We have a whole array of team building activities up our sleeve. These range from 5 to 10 minutes during lunch half way up a hill or more challenging tasks and activities in the evening.
