Adventure is all about pushing your comfort zone so you realise you can do things you didn’t think possible.
Have you ever felt nervous about jumping in a cold lake and then felt tremendous afterwards? Or when you get your first exhilarating cold splash in the face when whitewater rafting? That’s because you went out of your comfort zone and realised it wasn’t that bad.
Well, taking a cold shower might not be quite as enjoyable as whitewater rafting but you still get a buzz out of it.
Infact, cold water is actually really good for you: there are also lots of scientific benefits including reduced stress, increased alertness, more robust immune system.
Be brave and get in that cold shower. How do you feel after it? Would you do it again?
