We run bespoke Adventure Education Courses for schools on school site and/or local countryside. Courses can be 1 off tasters days or a series of days over a term as part of your school’s extra curricular programme.
The types of things we can do
Every Wednesday over a term
13:00 to 16:00 – Alternative to sports
16:00 to 18:30 – After school club
Sample price – 10 full days over a term: £18 per day per pupil or £9 per half day per pupil
We could deliver to one group as an alternative to team sports and then to another as an after school adventure club. Programmes are normally one day a week over a term but we are flexible.
Our Adventure Education Courses are designed to help pupils get the most out our nature and adventure as efficiently as possible. We do this by:
a) Utilising your local countryside.
b) Making sessions regular over a period of time.
c) Theming each course around key outcomes.
Schools can use us for one off taster days right up to full adventure education partners.
Most of the arrangements are bespoke so please get in touch to see what we could do for your school.n
As a guide for a group of 24 pupils booking 6 days it would work out as about £22 per pupil per day.
We meet your group at an agreed car park each day or at your school. Dates are agreed at time of booking.
The Surrey Hills is our go-to location, however, we also come to schools and your local countryside to run sessions. We like to make it easy for you.
We cater for schools in London and the South East. The counties we can travel to are Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex. We may also be able to deliver such as Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire
DAY 1 Adventure Basics – Intro to adventure education. A light hike. Basic map reading and navigation skills.
DAY 2 – Bushcraft Learn how to light fires, build shelters, use knives safely and make s’mores!
DAY 3 – Leadership & Followership – We set up challenges to teach pupils about Leadership and Followership.
DAY 4 – The Natural World – Light hike while learning about the wonders of the natural world and how it helps.
DAY 5 – Expedition Planning – Advanced navigation, journey planning, group management, scenarios, equipment.
DAY 6 – Day Expedition – Pupils will plan and run their own day expedition!

Safety – We only employ experienced outdoor professionals to work with groups who have an enhanced DBS certificate, 16-hour first aid and relevant qualifications. All activities have been risk assessed.
